Model X1000 Gateway increases Xanboo's in-home functionality.

New York, NY December 20, 2005 - Xanboo, Inc., a technology platform provider of Internet based remote access applications and services, announced today the release of a key product that will serve to propel Xanboo's technology and business model forward by enabling a new suite of applications and services for its partners. These applications include home monitoring and security, energy management, remote healthcare, and device telemetry.

Xanboo Model X1000 Multimedia Gateway
The Model X1000 Multimedia Gateway represents an evolution in Xanboo technology in terms of functionality and serviceability. The gateway contains Xanboo's AFM II wireless protocol for communicating with Xanboo's extensive line of Motorola branded, sensors, controls, thermostats and IP cameras. In addition, the X1000 has an optional hard drive for 24/7 local video recording, as well as an application for backing up MP3's, videos, photos, and data files stored on the same local network. The Gateway also supports OSGI, and is plug n' play.

"By expanding the product line further, we've allowed the Xanboo client software to function in a more stable environment, increasing the reliability of the in home network," said Xanboo President Bill Diamond. "The gateway is remotely upgradeable, comes in both professional and consumer versions, and with a suggested MSRP of $199, is quite affordable and easy to use."

The Xanboo Gateway will initially be rolled out in February of 2006 on an OEM basis to Xanboo's partners, which include telephone and cable companies. Xanboo will also market the OSGI Gateway to third party application companies for use as a stand alone Gateway solution.

With the launch of the X1000, Xanboo continues to expand its business into a number of different broadband-based vertical markets that are emerging around the Internet.
